A Black and White eye on Melbourne is a gallery of forty pictures taken by 25 young Italians during their staying in Melbourne in 2008 – 2011. The idea and their way to visualise the City is based on a personal mixture of cultural identity and a new present. Each photo therefore offers not just a personal interpretation of the city, but also a second view. One, that tends to describe the representation of their cultural past and memories highlighted within their new social and cultural contest.
