Zanini Pizzeria

MELBOURNEPUNTOIT.COM – The Italian NewsPaper of Melbourne –

Born in the early 2000s as a pizza takeaway shop with just a handful of tables, Zanini Pizzeria was taken over by chef Maurizio Speranza in 2004 who implemented a new concept making the place, over the past decade, an Elwood classic. Nowadays the main focus of the pizzeria is not only about great and genuine Italian food but is also to offer customers a place where to feel welcome after work for their simple pleasures.

At Zanini you can choose from a broad selection of wood fired pizza and mains, including delicious home-made pasta and risotto al dente. You can allow yourself to enjoy the inimitable flavor of authentic Italian food and and the accommodating service of their Italian staff. Having dinner at Zanini is like traveling around Italy, from the Alps to Sicily, passing through the Tuscan hillside and Rome. Each meal is made respecting the old Italian tradition with a special attention to the enjoyability of the customers.

The “absolutely place to go” for dinner if you are in the area, or if you are looking for a nice place to enjoy the company of your friend or your family.  On Monday night at Zanini they have live music while Tuesday is Pizza Night with all pizzas at $12. We do suggest to try apart from their pizzas, the spaghetti alla carbonara and their excellent tiramisú, one of the best in Melbourne.

Zanini Pizzeria, 106 Ormond Rd, Elwood, Ph 03 9531 9733.
